New York State Defenders Association Selects Contegra

White Plains, NY, June 13, 2017: Contegra Systems, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise search and text analytics expertise announced today that The New York State Defender’s Association (NYSDA) selected Contegra to enhance its public defender’s case management software (PDCMS) platform with dtSearch search engine technology. The NYSDA PDCMS is installed in over 70 public defense and legal aid offices across New York State. The PDCMS is a powerful tool that helps public defender offices manage case data that is critical to serving its clients efficiently. They are a highly regarded not-for-profit organization providing legal representation to low income people. The PDCMS software is a custom platform designed specifically to handle a high volume of cases. “Effective searching is an integral part of the case research and management process,” stated Rob Wiesenberg, President, Contegra Systems. NYSDA selected the dtSearch search engine for its powerful search capabilities, flexibility for searching hundreds of document types as well as database. Contegra built a custom solution on top of its Java based REST interface for dtSearch. The solution is incorporated directly into the PDCMS code base.
